The circle of “influencers’ surrounding former President Rodrigo Duterte and his clan, which includes current Vice President Sara Duterte, need to shape up. The cult of personality approach where everything is an appeal to emotion — personal loyalty, patriotism, regionalism, and the all-time greatest hit, utang na loob (debt of gratitude) have all become passé. Yet these comms relics continue to be flogged by the “Duterte Die-hard Supporters” (DDS) mob.
Strip all the shrill emotionalism from the “issue” of the former president’s “plight” in The Hague under the thumb of the “International Criminal Court” (ICC) and we are left with a few sensible things to work with top of which is the questionable nature of the ICC itself and its manufactured jurisdiction as a “court” to reckon with and, as such, the sketchy circumstances surrounding how a Filipino citizen — a former chief executive, no less — was simply packed up and handed over to a foreign colonial power.
But then even discounting the formidable critical mass of “international law” and the Global North powers that enforce it, Duterte is a difficult man to defend. Foremost is his own predisposition to self-incrimination. He is first to not just admit but boast about his homicidal approach to law enforcement encompassing his gigs as Davao City mayor and President of the Philippines. Philippine Presidents, after all, are all the same in the extrajudicial manner with which they kill anyone they perceive to be a threat to their feudal clan. The sensible ones, however, do so covertly. Duterte wasn’t — and isn’t — as subtle nor as discreet. Neither is he as sensible.

Those are the key facts surrounding this latest circus. The “content creators” buzzing around this clown show should then work with these factual input and stop their incessant rosary rallies of delivering tired DDS slogans ad nauseum. Work on building sound arguments and educated scenarios and enough of the batang yagit, Joan Of Arc, and Rudy Fernandez narratives!
Perhaps a tad too vulcan for the OA Fipino mind? Fair enough. Maybe a bit of emotional icing can be slathered over the propaganda cake. Consider then that the Philippines now has the distinction of being the only Asian country that voluntarily handed over a former head of state to a former colonial power. Nakakahiya, right? The perfect touch for a society motivated by hiya and not much else.
The perfect time for strategic innovation is now given that the “thought leaders” of the true enemy here — the Yellowtard-Communist Axis — are showing no signs of strategic competence in story telling either. Are the Dutertards up to the job? As always, abangan ang susunod na kabanata.

Discreet, not discrete. Different meaning.
Thanks. That’s been corrected.
beg to disagree.
hiya is not what motivates filipino society the most. that would probably be guilt.
maybe the japanese, for whom shame of failure is equal to death.
for example, the failed bridge in isabela, if it were in japan we would already have seen half a dozen hara-kiris and a couple of hangings in the suicide forest.
in the philippines? life goes on as though nothing has happened.
mga bagag nawong
megget, are you referring to the previous Duterte administration as “mga bagag nawong” in relation to the failed bridge in Isabela?
The wiki page on the Cabagan-Santa Maria bridge in Isabela clearly has this entry that says:
“The Cabagan-Santa Maria bridge was planned to be completed by 2019 but was finished in 2021. The bridge was then promoted to be part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s Build! Build! Build! infrastructure program.”
Google translated “mga bagag nawong” as “thick faces” or “mga makapal ang mukha”.
the bridge was designed for light trucks only.
idiotic, yes.
because the designers and specifiers (pnoy administration) could have easily built it for a lower cost and higher capacity by simply changing the clear span from 60m to 30m.
but it is what it is.
now, despite that knowledge, they still let heavier than allowable trucks to pass thru.(junior admin)
now you tell me.
Good overview
Here is my historical overview of how Ferdinand Marcos plundered PH. Critical I this process was elimination of political opponents.

And this is how the US historically orchestrated the coup which overthrew the government of President Ferdinand Marcos in 1986.
Shultz and the ‘Hit Men’ Destroyed the Philippines
by Mike Billington
Editor’s Note: This is the third in a series of features on the assault against the Third World by the “Economic Hit Men.” We examine here first the case of the Philippines, and then Mexico.
The U.S.-orchestrated coup which overthrew the government of Philippines’ President Ferdinand Marcos in 1986 was a classic case study of what John Perkins describes in his recent book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, as the post-World War II preferred method of imposing colonial control under another name. In the Philippines case, George Shultz performed the roles of both the economic hit man, destroying and taking full control of the Philippine economy, and the coup-master, deposing the Philippine President in favor of an IMF puppet—while calling the operation “people power.”

With the benefit of hindsight and with the abundance of the more credible materials and resources openly available on the Marcos family saga on cyberspace, don’t you think it is high time and incumbent upon you, being a journalist and a teacher as claimed, supposedly, having the perspective of an impartial and disinterested outsider’s point of view, to not to insult the intelligence of critical-thinking Filipinos by sticking to that tired, old, crazy and lazy narrative of Yellowtardism and obsolete propaganda of the red communist cult?
With Cory Aquino’s ascent to power in 1986 and being then the Dictator of a revolutionary government, she had the greatest power than all the past Philippine presidents including Mr. Marcos. She abolished the National Assembly and replaced the 1972 Constitution with her own Cory Constitution framed by her own handpicked and appointed commissioners. Dictator Aquino forced all elected officials from both national and local positions across the country to resign and replaced them all with her own anointed leaders, all of whom benefited from their assumed positions without them being elected. Some of them we see today as the families who eventually become warlords and political dynasties of their own urban and provincial fiefdoms. One such beneficiary of that 1986 Coup event was the Duterte family.
Not only that, all national and local government positions were not spared and rendered void by the political ‘cleansing’. The guarantees of security of tenure were violated, from the low barangay level all the way up to the Justices of the Supreme Court. How’s that for democracy?!
Two Aquinos, mother and son, were both elected as Presidents of the Republic having been products of necro-politics. Both deliberately did nothing to settle the issue of their kin in the Benigno Aquino assassination of 1983. Why? To perpetuate the idea that Mr. Marcos has something to do with the assassination.
The ironic thing about this later on was when the late martyr Ninoy Aquino was indicted by his own comrade in the Left Movement as a conspirator behind the infamous 1971 bombing in Plaza Miranda of the Liberal Party political rally… his own political party. What for? To create chaos and to hasten the right scenario for the communists to take action. Tsk… tsk… just what would people do for an ambition?
What happened to the promises of the anti-Marcos leaders after 1986 onwards? NOTHING!!!
No economic prosperity… No political stability… No infrastructures… No nation-building…
How about the issues of Mr. Marcos’ plunder and human rights abuses?
The Marcos family were continuously persecuted for nearly 40 years since 1986. They were sued and filed with more than a 1,000 cases in courts, both here and abroad. With their assets frozened and sequestered, they were kidnapped and forcibly exiled in Hawaii by the scheming Ugly Americans. They were even given a dubious world record entry of “the greatest robbery of a government” by the conniving Guinness Book of World Records which was voluntarily taken down after three decades despite having no other records that supposedly topped it.
The Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) is a quasi-judicial government agency created by Cory Aquino whose mandate is to recover the ill-gotten wealth by the Marcos family, relatives, subordinates and close associates, whether located in the Philippines or abroad.
In 2017, one of its former chairman was found guilty of two counts of graft and sentenced to 12 to 20 years of imprisonment. Another former chairman of PCGG is on the run in the US and considered a fugitive of the law.
With all of these, the late President Marcos died an innocent man with zero court conviction and with a legacy that the majority of Filipinos still enjoys until today. Only those rabid supporters of the Yellowtards and their communists chums will their fist in protest.
Stop being lazy, Mr. Donn Liston, an objective truth is as always based on verifiable evidence.
‘Truth is like a lion, let it loose and it will defend itself.’

All things considered, the Dutertes need to be disarmed and sent away before they cede the country to those who want to capture it.
all things considered, all you northern traitors and faggots need to perform voluntary genital seppuko and leave the south alone.
Seethe harder retard lmao, your backwoods ass 80-iq Quiboloy dick sucking precious southern motherland will never be prosperous
laughing your ass off.
sounds about right,
you northern faggots got so much gape , your laughter comes out of your ass.
tagalog and ilocano traitors, you can have your “ptosperous” luzon, just leave mindanao alone
The thing is, you guys from the south clamor for change and with the majority of Mindanao being muslim it doesn’t help your case at all.
You are pretty much like illegal immigrants flocking to us for opportunity, yet you also bring the most vile, abrupt and retarded culture known to man, the same culture that has ruined the west.
Seems like Quibs didn’t diddle you enough noh?
oh, so mindanao is majority muslim now?
you insult mindanao and you insult our muslim brothers in mindanao with your arrogance and ignorance.
just stick to your own kind, the traitors and faggots of the north.
@megget
Spoken like a true illegal immigrant, clinging to divisive rhetoric instead of facts. If you’re so quick to defend Islam in Mindanao, let’s talk about why it’s a problem. The religion’s track record is littered with intolerance, its texts preach violence against non-believers, apostates, and anyone who dares to question it. Look at the global stats: where islam dominates, you get skyrocketing rates of oppression, from women’s rights being shredded to free speech getting a death sentence. Mindanao’s not some shining exception it’s got its own history of extremist groups like Abu Sayyaf butchering people in the name of faith, religion of peace my ass. You wanna cry ignorance? Check the mirror your blind loyalty’s the real insult here xdd.
wow! so much knowledge of islam.
what then, i pray thee, would be the one true religion?
so we can finally make the correct decisions in our lives..
or are you one of those holy ones whom god speaks to directly?
how?
would that be theough the gapey hole in you ass?
Pre if you’re so fixated on my asshole, maybe it’s because your cult’s warped teachings have you drooling over depravity. Islam’s a cesspool for pedophiles just like your buddy Quibs, that pedo pastor the FBI’s after mind you, Muhammad hooked up with a6yo and screwed her by 9, paving the way for every twisted fuck in your ranks. It’s a murderer’s paradise too, with Qur’an verses like ‘strike their necks’ fueling slaughter for ages. And thieves? Your prophet’s crew were basically caravanrobbing thugs calling it divine work. So shove off with your perverted ass-obsession and crawl back to your degenerate cult or keep crying like the rest of your DDShit kin for the next 6years while your daddy dugong enjoys getting african tribe’d in his cell
ok lets say that islam is pedo and murderous, quiboloy is pedo and a thief.
so what is the truth? what is the one true religion?
do you even have any real answers for the problems in mindanao?
or are you just talking out of your gapey ass?
@megget
If you’re looking for solutions, why not just take yourselves out, after all, your daddy Digong loves a good killing spree, doesn’t he? Mindanaoans keep bragging about their resource rich land, yet neither digong nor his daughter ever bothered to tap into that goldmine. Keep dreaming out of your asshole it must be cozy with all those Muslims living up there. Truth is, no religion’s got a monopoly on virtue, pick one and roll the dice.
you offer no solutions, only islam hate and duterte hate and quiboloy hate.
your hate is making the gape in your ass flutter, so you keep on hating, a perpetual ass-gape flutter machine.
To put it simply, you guys are invaders, your culture, your idols and everything you stand for is built on hate and nothing else.
Keep crying retard, your mooching off Luzon days are over and nothing will stop niggers from plowing your digong 24/7
To put it simply, you guys are invaders, your culture, your idols and everything you stand for is built on hate and nothing else.
Keep crying retard, your mooching off Luzon days are over and nothing will stop niggers from plowing your digong the next 10 years
the tagalog culture is the vile invader.
just like the language forced upon us, disguised as a “national language” under the deceptive name of “filipino”
that has always been the tagalog way, the way of deception and treason and coercion and manipulation and cowardice.
you can always trust the tagalog to shoot you in the back.
A retard crying about Tagalog culture has no spine, trashing it as some vile invader when your own mindanaoan and islamic roots are just as tangled in grit and grime. They’re blind to how every culture’s got its scars calling Tagalog deceitful while ignoring their own history of scrappy survival is pure hypocrisy. Still, the circus rolls on, and another two black cocks have entered your precious Digong as we speak.
it is really simple.
we want nothing to do with the traitor and faggot tagalogs and ilocanos of the north.
we just want to live in peace without the meddling of idiots and traitors.
you can have your luzon and your condos and your congestion.
now, can you leave mindanao alone?
because your mouth is all duterte and islam and mindanao and the cocks of black people, the objects of your obsession.
@megget
Projecting much? Typical for a islamic chinese communist from mindanao . While we’re out here living prosperous lives, you dutertards are stuck bickering with the yellowtards. Only this time, we’ll all be laughing at it even harder well into the next century. Good luck with your garbage mindanao! we left it just as it was back in 2022. Enjoy!
yes, it is our mindanao.
not yours.
now stop googling “siargao cheap flights” and fuck off.
go live out your “prosperous” luzon life, among your other delusions.
The Duterte camp’s reliance on emotional appeals is losing impact. To stay relevant, they must focus on reasoned arguments and strategic storytelling, especially regarding the ICC issue. The opportunity for innovation is now—will they rise to the challenge?
strategic story- telling :
It’s very hard to predict an immature justice system at work. Very immature is the justice system of Timor-Leste,”
“There’s no basis for the decision. So it’s obvious that some people are making money out of this. Maybe the lawyers or maybe more than the lawyers
thats secretary of “justice” , “jesus” crispy remulla, bashing another sovereign nation and spreading some fake news along the way
mga bagag nawong
Have you seen the flip flopping of the FOUR traitors on national TV? Along with the contradicting statements of both pro admin and pink/yellow camp wrt to Article 59 of the ICC?
You have no moral high ground.
“Nakakahiya, right?”
Looking back, hindi ba mas nakakahiya na habang nagaganap ang mga pangyayari noong panahon niya ay wala tayong ginawa?
Indirectly, many among us became accomplices of former President Duterte’s disregard for due process and the rule of law. That one is presumed to be innocent unless proven otherwise. We normalized killing …
He wouldn’t have to be in The Hague today if we did not allow him to impose upon all of us his kill ideology.
Don’t feel like using google at the moment so I’m not quite certain if any group or individuals even attempted to question his kill policy in Philippine courts during his time.
before duterte, killing was already normalized.
but it was helpless civilians being killed by vicious criminals and the cpp-npa.
me, i would rather have criminals living in constant fear, rather than citizens living in endless trepidation.
You suggest a preference for a system where criminals live in fear rather than citizens, pointing to a shift under Duterte where killing allegedly turned from civilians at the hands of criminals to criminals themselves. But here’s the rub: if the goal was to make criminals tremble, why do we see DDS figures like Bato Dela Rosa mulling over hiding from an ICC arrest warrant, Harry Roque reportedly seeking asylum, and Quiboloy evading capture? These aren’t the actions of people confident in a just system they helped build—they’re the moves of those dodging accountability. It’s hypocritical to champion a tough-on-crime stance while watching its key players scramble to escape the consequences, leaving citizens to wonder who’s really living in fear here.
the ICC has no jurisdiction, so why allow yourself to be arrested?
roque’s case is unrelated to the drug war ( fake congressional ass-com subpoena )
quiboloy’s case is unrelated to the drug war ( fake human trafficking charges )
When PNP officials belonging to the top graduates of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) with clean records to boot and even recipients of awards coming from the PNP chief Dir. Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa himself as outstanding police commissioned officers in relation to their campaign against the war on drugs, who, then, figured as the wig-wearing ‘riding-in-tandem’ killers responsible for the death of a targeted citizen, it is not normal.
More so, it becomes weird and ironic, when, in that Mindoro case in 2016, there was no immediate indication that it was linked to narcotics.
this is a tired diatribe
either you are for duterte, or youre not.
now we’re tired of you northern pansies defending and emboldening criminals with your human rights rhetoric, clearly a failed system.
the only solution, is you keep your ICC and your “european” sensibilities, while we slaughter criminals and stay safe in the new republic of mindanao
