Social Media Sucks… So Does Search… and Anything with AI Too

Yes, it does and perhaps some of you had seen if way earlier than I did (which was a couple of days ago).

Forgive me if you ever seen me saying that people who announce their “quitting from Facebook” were just melodramatic, attention seekers.

That was a hasty generalization on my part.

But, yeah.

There comes a time in people’s lives when authenticity becomes more valuable than social media attention and as soon as one comes to this point, the next step should be to just disappear from it.

After all, one’s REAL social connections will show up at your door or find all sorts of other ways to get in touch with you. As for the rest… well… I doubt more than 1 percent of them will show up at one’s funeral unless one is a celebrity of some note.

If I haven’t said it before, let me say it now… There really isn’t anything social about social media because it is fake.

And, from the looks of it, so are the answers we’re getting on Google Search… Well, not fake as in misleading, but fake in the sense that it’s practically marketing/sales garbage.

Aaaaand, guess what AI has been trained on?

Yeah… Now do you see what I am getting at? Yup!

If you said I am describing what some people refer to as the “dead internet theory”, you’d be wrong. It’s much worse than that.

After all, what is IN the INTERNETS had to come from somewhere right? Guess WHO or WHAT put stuff in there? Us.

So, in a sense, the idea that we’re really all simulations making simulations tends to make sense because we’re fakes making fakes of fakes.

Am I making sense? I hope so. Or maybe I am not and it’ll just be as good.
