So now we know why PNoy’s social media fans behave the way they do. When they see or read something on the Net they disagree with, they unfollow or even “block” the person who published or re-shared/retweeted it. That is what Kris Aquino did as well after she felt “offended” by “friends” who she found spreading content critical of her brother, all over social media.
One of these “friends” it seems is famous star Judy Ann Santos. ABS-CBN News reported that Kris may have unfollowed her as a result of an image of a newspaper story she posted on Instagram that read “Obama Cancels Schedule to Meet Returned Bodies of Fallen Troops” probably in reference to President Aquino’s failure to show up at Villamor Air Base to meet the returning bodies of the SAF troops that were massacred by the MILF in Mindanao.

You gotta wonder how serious the Aquinos and their tardic followers are about even challenging the critical views being thrown at them by the public. How could you possibly come up with a credible response to your critics if you do not even want to see or hear what they have to say??
So goes the same logic with some of these social media “activists” who are very busy fielding tweets in support of President BS Aquino. They’re doing all that but, at the same time, block anyone who confronts them with challenging questions and compelling arguments against the ideas they are expressing. No wonder they’ve become so blinkered by their flawed views. The kind of inbreeding of ideas that happens when people surround themselves with like-minded cronies and shut out dissenting views is very evident in social media today. How ironic when that whole scene was once called the “free market of ideas”.
The way things are going, Kris may, at some point, have to block a lot more people. Even presidential ex-squeeze Grace Lee is not too impressed by the presidential no-show at Villamor…

…which was reportedly a response the Chief Aquino Apologist Leah Navarro’s now famous tweet “So how many of those people who dissed the President’s absence from Villamor were actually there to condole?”.
That was actually a bunch ot tame words coming from Grace if you consider the DJ-meister Mo Twister’s retort to Leah Navarro in response to the same tweet: “You’re a dumbass”.
All looks promising seeing all these showbiz who’s-whos now in full appreciation of the TRUTH about President BS Aquino. How long does it take for the truth to trickle down to the Philippine masses’ top opinion shapers? Five years, apparently. Nevertheless, better late than never!

For someone who wears a shirt about being silent, it’s amazing how it’s next to impossible to shut her up when it comes to other things.
I had been thinking the Philippines is really 18th century France. Replace monarchy with our government officials and the celebrities and Marie Antoinette is Kris Aquino. Wonder if someone’s head will roll in the near future…
You are just seeing the patented Aquino family way of dealing with differing opinion. They hold all monopoly on clear, coherent thought and virtue. Specially in Kris’ case. Couple that with her brother’s “I’m telling” scene to the pope and you have the pinoys idea of model decorum. Kris is KSP. Noynoy has never given anybody any reason to care about what he thinks , then his mom died.
BTW Grace Lee as well any other tabloid fodder linked to Noynoy were just decoys like those female police officers you see in reality TV shows masquerading as hookers. They are there to deceive.
Kris is just a sore loser, she may be the saddest person in the planet today. Noynoy is excused because he didn’t want to be the president in the first place. His advisers are to blame, and we all know who they are.

If you travel around the country a lot, you would know that Kris will beat Grace Poe, or maybe even Binay, if Kris ever decides to run for president. Very very sad reality check, folks.

If this attention seeking whore had even a bit of decency, she would have advised her brother on the error of his ways. But typical of this family, they think they are God’s gift to Filipinos and they can do no wrong. Everyone with different views from them are wrong.

Then the Aquino family (or at least what remains of their family) do not deserve to be called champions of democracy.
People exercise a little free speech, even if it is critical of the president, and both he and his sister choose to silence them rather than embrace it as part of the whole process of free speech and meet those criticisms head on.

It is within Kris’ power to unfollow those who she thinks are irksome. Of course, being the President’s showy sister at this time of great acrimony, her movements are bound to get criticized, even if she has perfectly good reasons to try and go places, or in this case, ignore bashers, most of them punitively angry at her and her motormouth.
It is simply hypocrisy to expect Kris to not unfollow offending posters when virtually everyone else would do the same thing if met with the sheer amount of online vitriol that gets poured upon her (and her brother, and in lieu of her brother), justified or not.

Honestly, I like that line so much that I wish it applies to everybody.
I think the ‘Queen of All Media’, which is what Kris is known for, finally realized that her monicker only applies in showbiz. As PNoy’s youngest and closest sister, I completely understand her; I feel her. But politics is war and his brother is a soldier at war.
You don’t go to war because your soldier-brother was hit by a sniper or wounded by an IEDs. You don’t do that because as a ‘civilian’ the war her brother is engaged in will completely devour her for being an outsider. Her being the ‘Queen’ will make her an easy target.
I know that the fine line between showbiz and politics do not exist anymore in terms of one jumping fence on the other. But the line is very much alive when it comes to meddling and the person doing it. Kris should be the last person to do that. If she think that she’s helping his brother she is mistaken. Coming to his aid will be interpreted as weakness on his part. I’m sure PNoy would rather have somebody not from his family and his his controversial sister showing support to him.
I say if she wants her brother to feel assured and confident, stop meddling and treat him as mature and grown man by respecting the field of profession he has chosen. If she wants her brother to value himself as an individual and a leader worthy of respect and admiration, lay off his back.
She should do what is best right now: watch and wait and hope her brother survives the war.
