He said such order from the President covered both the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) and Malampaya Fund scams, adding that investigations would be done fairly, without fear or favor.
Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr , June 1, 2014
Back in August the headlines screamed that Noynoy could care less about the imminent Pork Barrel protests and at the time of the actual protest the Malacanang Communications Group released a meme that lets it be known that Noynoy’s flock of followers in his so called Daang Matuwid is increasing. I was already disturbed that there was this notion being floated around that the missing in action Napoles was the only person anybody seemed to think was the sole person with monopoly on the answers. I then called for somebody in government to come out of the closet. No, not Noynoy. Silly me, I was trying to appeal to senators and congressmen who know more than they are letting on to come out expose the scam for what it is. Maybe the flaw in my thinking was that I forgot that they were senators and congressmen. A fraternity of cheaters and scammers that will never admit they are cheaters and scammers.

I have no earthly idea how anyone who expects a private citizen like Janet Napoles to make off with a boatload of taxpayer money and for the powers that be in this government not to encourage it at least approve it. If you believe them, they claim to barely know her. Do I hear a cock crowing??
Now an administration that spent their entire term blaming all of the ills on Gloria Arroyo says not to blame the PDAF on them. According to Hermino Coloma “administration is one with the people in efforts to ferret out the truth .” “That is why we laid down steps and we strengthened institutions to promote greater openness, transparency and accountability of public officials, especially in the use of public funds,” Coloma said over radio dzRB.
PNoy wants proof before letting go of his cabinet men involved w/Napoles in the pork scam, but when it comes to non-allies, no proof needed
— Maxell (@maxell_lander) May 31, 2014
You can go to other sources about what the different versions of the so called Napolist signify. For me, I will do the usual and point out the always present Malacanang double standard. It always important to see what a person does to see if their words warrant your attention. Noynoy was a fifty year old nil achiever when he pole vaulted over his mother’s corpse into Malacanang. In a perfect world, he would be humbled by the responsibility the nation saw fit to bestow upon him. On the contrary, Noynoy has all the humility of a WWE wrestler.
My old boss ( who always was puzzled by my skepticism towards Noynoy ) told me that people should never self evaluate. Yet how many times do you read a story with the title :
MALACANANG CLEARS _______________.?
For example:
- Senators cleared
- Ochoa cleared.
- Ballsy Cleared
- Padaca Cleared, here is some bail.
Noynoy does more clearing than a dermatologist.
Coloma said “all information should be verified and assessed to know their probative value.”
President Aquino has repeatedly made known his stand to “let the evidence point to the direction of the inquiry,” Coloma said. He further adds “He said such order from the President covered both the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) and Malampaya Fund scams, adding that investigations would be done fairly, without fear or favor.”
Where is that sentiment when De Lima focuses on three senators that are not allies? Coloma must be kept in protective glass and only comes out to apologize for Noynoy. You definitely do not see fair treatment even in his international pogi points speeches. When Noynoy likes to pretend he is combating China he talks about the rule of law. Rule of law is strangely absent when it comes to railroading an impeachment or appointing someone under investigation to COMELEC.
Even without getting into extended detention or even the PCOS irregularities, there sure is an absence of “rule of law” when it comes to Gloria Arroyo in terms of President Noynoy. I do have my Batman Joker theory which I will elaborate on later. Noynoy has lived his life so blandly despite having the most colorful sister possible. Let us ignore for a moment that the color is predominantly red. Noynoy is nowhere without anchoring his identity to women. It is not like we have a problem of excess testosterone. His dead mother was in every poster, his famous sister and her famous husband were there to attract attention as well as teach their kid who the other candidates were. Gloria Arroyo makes her way into every speech home and abroad. He brings her up in every crisis. We all know Noynoy served under Gloria in Congress and the Senate. Surely if she was truly the evil Ursula from Little Mermaid, he would have known about it then. If he did know, why was he not the crusading corruption crushing cop then like he pretends to be now? I personally believe Gloria being evil is just a pro wrestling type story line that fit the Noynoy formula of being president. I do not in a million years believe Noynoy hatched this scheme personally. It is just the planets aligned. They have to align for a creature of this ineptness with the conspicuousness of wallpaper to be forefront in the people’s minds.
When charges against Gloria do not stick , Noynoy himself is talking about reopening the case. Do you ever hear of any president anywhere trying to reopen wounds already closed by their country’s legal system? And doing it by focusing on a personality? Gloria being guilty is Noynoy’s validation. His meal ticket. Four years into her successor’s term, she is like her tokayo and she “survives” . I said before I do not believe she is Little Miss Tuffet but it has come to the point that I have to do a Rod Tidwell Noynoy and Noytards, if GMA essentially is the embodiment of all that is evil and you are committed in your fight against corruption: Show Me The Convictions.
The Palace feels they should not be blamed for the PDAF stink. It was only an unconstitutional loophole that they invented and then exploited. What’s next? Do not blame Dr.Frakenstein for his creature?? Then again to accept blame is to tell the world you are responsible for something. Noynoy painted Gloria as the Joker to the Filipino voters so they could see him as Batman. Noynoy does not have enough Batman in him to be Batman without Gloria. Noynoy was nobody when his mom was alive. Let alone a presidential contender. Noynoy is quick to tell you about miracles that are not even true. So don’t expect him to own up to fiscal sleight of hand even if it is true.
Please note: Yes I saw wrong spelling of Malacanang in the picture. I got it straight from the Phil Star article that I quoted.
Putting a very sharp needle into the balloon known as Pinoy Pride since 2012.
I doubt that malacañang troll(Jigs) would be able to resist trolling in this article even after getting his butt whooped in the previous article.
He’ll only embarass himself if he tries to refute your article with his flawed yellow propaganda.
He doesn’t seem to realize that his idol isn’t doing his job if he’s still relying on paid stooges like him to spread propaganda.
You know the Scorpion and frog story? Old story but it was in The Crying Game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8x525Tk7KpI
“We all know Noynoy served under Gloria in Congress and the Senate. Surely if she was truly the evil Ursula from Little Mermaid, he would have known about it then. If he did know, why was he not the crusading corruption crushing cop then…?”
-I think it’s because PNoy at the time gave GMA the benefit of the doubt but then when he witnessed himself first-hand in his first day of work in Malacanang the overwhelming problems GMA and her administration left behind, he came to conclusion that only a wicked person who has no conscience can create all these troubles. Common sense would tell him that the backlogs were insurmountable to imagine the woman who obtained a doctorate degree in economics assumed to be equipped with high level of intelligence, qualified supposedly to be an ideal president, has extensive experience in government positions yet nearly a decade in power as president (2001-2010) she was acting like a spoiled five-year old child who just let the next administration to fix her own mess (most of these are just basic needs like school supplies and chairs.) Heck! Even the high school grad. Sen. Lito Lapid has the capability to solve them. Therefore, it’s either GMA is guilty of corruption or negligence and should be imprisoned. People like Johnny Derp should think about this and should not let his emotions run through.
You’re getting really really pathetic with your continued peddling of lies…of course it’s expected of a hypocrite like YOU who is clearly working for malacañang to spread propaganda.
People like YOU should know that your president’s incompetence is a sign of corruption. His continued coddling of his allies and his continued reliance on fools like you says a lot about his flawed regime.
P.S.
I’m not letting my emotions run through like YOU do, malacanang-troll-in-denial since I don’t rely on flawed propaganda like YOU.
Troll Harder
Lies? yet you cannot make good arguments. Pathetic as usual.
You cannot even refute any of our argument You’re the pathetic one since you only rely on propaganda.
You’re going to eat your words soon enough since your president’s days are numbered, pathetic troll
Another nonsense attempt by an absolute childish uneducated smug whose only making a life by accusing someone with his “malacanang troll” mantra without making any substance to the thread.
Maybe we can have healthy and decent debate? defend your side Johnny Derp in a polite way and I will defend mine as well.
Yes, your lies are quite obvious since not one of them can hold against the reality of your boss’s incompetence which you are obviously blind to.
Nangongontra ka pa e. Halata na ngang manloloko ka na namimilit ka pa rin na parang diyos ang minamahal mong presidente de patola e. Bakit sya ba ang nagbinyag sa iyo at ng mga magulang mo? Now please go back on licking your president’s ass dakilang mangongontra.
Btw you can’t even answer MidwayHaven’s question to you last month in this article: http://getrealphilippines.com/2014/04/great-nations-achieve-great-things-is-the-philippines-a-great-nation
Look who’s pathetic now dakilang mangongontra.
Domo, you think I did not answer that? guess what? GRP deleted my citations requested by MidwayHeaven that’s why I realize it’s not good to provide citations here since it will just be deleted anyway and will not be seen by other people like you.
* almost 2 months ago in this article
Good arguments? You can’t even answer any of the questions that we posed to you in the past.
You keep skirting around them quite unsuccessfully even though you insist that your so called “arguments” are sound when in reality, they’re not
You think your propaganda passes for legit arguments?
You’re quite the delusional one.
Delusional and pathetic
If anyone is pathetic it’s you, kid. And your staunch trolling and propaganda-spouting is showing it.
Proof is that you’re always being EMO over an ex-president. Lying hypocrite, just like Noynoy. -_-
Prove to me why I should not be an “emo” over Gloria. Make an assertions that would convince me why Filipinos just have to move-on and forget everything after almost a decade of Gloria’s rule without definite progress in the Philippines.
You think your yellow propaganda counts as “facts”? Still delusional as usual.
Why are you still wasting your time here if you aren’t even fond of GRP?
That’s the one thing contradicting your statement “I’m not a malacañang troll/I’m not being used by malcañang”
In most cases, one would just avoid going to a site that they don’t like especially if the articles there don’t agree with their beliefs but nope, you chose to troll here anyway so that makes you a fat hypocrite
@Jigs: I have a WordPress GLOBAL account (not just a WP GRP account), and I can assure you that if any citations are deleted I would be the first to know. There is NO record of you in WordPress posting answers to my questions along with citations.
So you’re clearly weaseling it with lame excuses.
No, I’m telling the truth. I’m always willing to reply and provide sources if necessary but that article was old. Maybe GRP at that time did not allow me to post comments anymore / block or thrown into trash or maybe my references were deleted and you just missed them.
Nope, you’re lying. You’re the one without a WordPress account, so you can’t claim to say that I “missed” your comments.
So what’s stopping you from answering my questions now? The responsibility of becoming an Aquino apologist now falls on you to give credible citations.
Okay, just to satisfy you MH even if I think I posted some citations there. In relation to the statements I made for that particular article, here’s some of the references;
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-10-03/philippines-completes-investment-grade-ascent-as-moody-s-raises.html
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/04/business/international/moodys-gives-philippines-investment-grade-rating.html?_r=0
I hope you see my citations now MidwayHaven since it says “awaiting for moderation” I’m sure those references will be deleted later on.
Oh please dakilang mangongontra those “hallelujah” news again? You know we are not blinded by those “news” you dimwit. Are you just running out of ammunition to attack us? Btw how much does your employer malakanyakanyang paid you noytard troll?
As usual, whenever a malacanang troll gets backed into a corner like a rat, he resorts to his yellow propaganda just to sneak away but unfortunately for you, the jig is up.
We’ve already seen those “hallelujah” news and those gains are still credited to the previous administration, your president just stole the credit yet again.
You can deny it all you want but you’ll never convince us that you’re not a malacanang troll.
@Jigs:
Read your own citations very, very carefully. Not only are they dated pre-Haiyan, but the second citation underscores the following sentences:
“Surging growth has yet to translate to wealth for the country’s millions of poor. The economy remains heavily reliant on money sent home from Filipinos working overseas. And the country’s service-sector-heavy economy lacks a manufacturing base of the kind that has lifted millions of people out of poverty in other Asian countries.”
What good is a credit/investment upgrade when a government REFUSES (i.e., a vetoed FOI bill) to present a plan for uplifting less-fortunate sectors because of this? The second Aquino government so far has shown little or no interest in presenting a way for poorer people in society to create their own capital; it only wants them to be dependent on government dole outs, and cheap ones at that.
If you want a more up-to-date post-Haiyan reality check on the Philippines, you might want to read “Asia’s Cauldron” by Robert Kaplan (2014 Random House Pub.).
Excerpts from the book say:
“Crucially, a ‘staggering’ 76.5 percent of that GDP growth in recent years went to the forty richest Filipino families.
[…]
No one can deny the situation is improving…Nevertheless, corruption, restrictions on foreign ownership, and endless paperwork make the Philippines the most hostile country in maritime Asia for the foreign investor.”
So my question to you now Jigs is this: what exactly has BS Aquino done to reduce investment hostility and capital divide? And how can he do this in the supposed “last two minutes” of his term (his own words)?
“Prove to me why I should not be an “emo” over Gloria. Make an assertions that would convince me why Filipinos just have to move-on and forget everything after almost a decade of Gloria’s rule without definite progress in the Philippines.”
What you and people are getting mad about is a small deal. There are things we should leave the past alone about because it won’t haunt the future of the country. The constitution still haunts the country in the past, certainly the present and most definitely the future and so is the system of the government if we don’t change it for the better. Much like how we should change how we think about mythical concepts like crab mentality and colonial mentality, like you do. Because people cannot progress if they keep thinking like that and playing the constant victim when things get messed up.
Everyone paid attention at her taking the people’s money (when its the government’s money to begin with) yet nobody was shocked and awe that PNOY took over 60 million to 1 trillion pesos in pork barrel money? Oh but of course not since the incompetent individual has not done anything bad and is compensating himself as a proud member of the Aquino family and taking his rightful place in the government.
If they were so insistent on getting her, why not sooner? Why wait until she gets old enough suffering from alzheimers or dementia that she’ll even admit baby stories when she is five years old?
Welp, so go on, keep putting blame on the old admin as the new admin feeds off your anger and puts your money in their pockets while you are too busy being emo all over an ex-president. 😀
Jigs, who are you trying to kid???? You make it sound like Noynoy had that “crusading corruption crushing cop” in him, if only he saw the corruption. Nope. That was the sizzle he used to sell himself as a candidate and the naive and ignorant bought into it. Now that he is in. He is using GMA as justification of his work. The guy at 50 had a blank resume and it is still blank unless you count the innovations of the pork barrel leaks.
In light of the pork barrel mess, Noynoy has not done anything to enlighten the masses on its benefits or even its existence. Quite the same way Moe the Bartender on the Simpsons kept the secret ingredient of the Flaming Moe from the public. Because the truth exposes some people to be the shams that they really are. BS Aquino was using pork. He was using pork to coerce other decision makers to do his bidding for the simple reason that he has no skill otherwise to get things done. Not sure why anybody with half a brain is surprised since he never had that skill. To his chagrin it was exposed. He will not give it up nor will he articulately justify it. That much of the public coffers being used secretly and yet he does not want to be accountable. Does not sound like a good man to me. You find him worth defending. That is your rep here. I do not.
He’s only kidding himself. He’s not smart enough to realize that its pointless to keep using his flawed propaganda.
He is not answering because they powered down the Mac books in Malacanang.
He ran away with his tail between his legs.
Relying on flawed propaganda will always end in failure for idiots/trolls like him.
Gogs I suggest you show him the Blondie lyrics that you did to jon-asshole before.
I can’t believe I have been writing here long enough to forget that . But yes , that bullet is now in the chamber .
“…That was the sizzle he used to sell himself as a candidate and the naive and ignorant bought into it. Now that he is in. He is using GMA as justification of his work.”
– It’s not justification on his part but the demands of the majority of ordinary Filipinos including the elite educated government officials and local and foreign investors who pressured him to prosecute GMA and her cohorts. They were all aware how the Philippines performed during GMA’s time and that’s the justification of their call to make this woman and her cohorts hold accountable of outright corruption and negligence on their duties. In 2010 elections, investors even chose to pick Noynoy for president than Gibo (the supposed successor of GMA).
“In light of the pork barrel mess, Noynoy has not done anything to enlighten the masses on its benefits or even its existence.”
– I beg to differ. The masses are now more enlightened to distrust the Congress because of pork barrel mess and with that, they want justice of the wasted taxpayer’s money pocketed by these crooks. If this was not revealed, PDAF would continue to flourish under the absolute control of these crooked senators and congressmen conniving with bogus NGOs that likewise benefited from it. What happened now, PDAF was realigned to government implementing agencies and this is beneficial because the money would be directly used by the agencies for their pet projects proposal and maintenance work. Also, if there’s misused again, the blame would only be put to the head of agencies and its auditors. No need for pointing too much fingers again like what happens now in the investigation conducted in the senate.
“BS Aquino was using pork. He was using pork to coerce other decision makers to do his bidding for the simple reason that he has no skill otherwise to get things done…That much of the public coffers being used secretly and yet he does not want to be accountable. Does not sound like a good man to me.”
– This is clearly the case with Gloria when there were attempts of impeachment against her. Some congressmen even admit that. Opposition Senators were not getting their share of pork barrel. Clear indication of favoritism of Gloria. I don’t know if you refer to the DAP funds of PNoy but it is still under reviews by the Supreme Court whether DAP is constitutional and if he used those funds to bribe senators to impeach Corona, so don’t haste.
I say this many times, Noynoy had no identity when he ran. Nobody cared who he was. His mom had to die. He never had any qualifications, any intestinal fortitude, any guts. You are taking a TRAPO and painting him out to be a prisoner of circumstance. A swan still inside the ugly duckling. Well , the ugly part is correct. I have no idea why you come into GRP post in and post out and glorify a pathetic person. Oh yeah. You are a paid troll. All paid trolls deny they are paid trolls. But they exist. Or will you deny that?
I never saw anything anywhere where Noynoy tries to justify pork except for his patented finger point at the three political opponents. face it , the guy has never lead people in his life and he is not starting now. Lets dangle 50 million plus per senator and call it an incentive and a fair trial. Let’s coddle Butch Abad. I will use the Blondie lyrics on you if you keep sticking to Lacierda script like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Quick, before they shut down the Mac Books in Malacanang.
@Jigs do you think that like me as an ordinary people living in our doomed country caused by your incompetent president maniniwala sa mga pinagsasabi mo isa kang Stupid nagpapagamit sa gobyernong Aquino to spreed the lies, marami ng gising for your information.
“Spread” i mean.
You should be careful with your accusation. Honestly, I’m not used by Aquino. All my views are based on the news (not only ABS-CBN)both local and foreign. And I don’t think they are lies.
Sure, sure, you tell us thst you are “not” used by malacañang yet your posts and actions reek of yellow propaganda not to mention that you consistently attempt to ignore the incompetence of your president.
Explain that glaring contradiction would you, little troll?
FYI, I’m not ignoring the fact that the Philippine government made a mistake in the botched rescued operation for the Hongkong Chinese tourists who were killed in hostage crisis in Manila and also the slow relief operations in Samar and Leyte for the victims/survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. But I cannot just hate the government like that. I also recognize the reforms made by this current administration although there are still lots of areas remain to be improved.
@Jigs: Getting all your info from “local and foreign news” only means you’re dependent on what media tells you. You should also be able to understand political, economic and cultural trends that go beyond mere media.
Of course, I won’t expect you to do such a thing. I’m still waiting for the citations to the questions I gave you two months ago in another GRP article.
MH, of course, I’m not blind not to see poverty and crimes in PH but the question is, is our overall economy declining, stagnant or developing? and the answer is developing and improving according to local and foreign media although there are lots of things need to be fixed and done.
To answer your question about citation/ references and also my response to Domo “GRP deleted my citations requested by MidwayHeaven that’s why I realize it’s not good to provide citations here since it will just be deleted anyway and will not be seen by other people like you.”
You asked me to provide citations / references to back up my claims but when I gave my sources, you people are telling me now that I only rely on the media? but then again when I only rely on my own opinions, you are telling me to provide citations to make my statements credible? The heck! you people are crazy!
Fact is, Philippine economy under PNoy is improving and it’s not grabbing credit from previous president. If he did then during GMA’s time, investors should had given us the investment upgrade if our economy was strong and stable at her time, but no, only now PNoy’s time we have gained the positive prospects of local and foreign investors as well as different political leaders around the world who know much better about the conditions of economy in one’s country. They all said, the Philippines is now the “Rising Tiger in Asia” and we should thank the PNoy admin. for that.
To quote about their positive views on Aquino government from my source above: “robust economic performance, ongoing fiscal and debt consolidation, political stability and improved governance.” — This is an indication that PNoy is not an Ampaw president.
I also don’t neglect the fact that we still have lots of improvement to be done and in the years to follow so that we can sustain this momentum following the inclusive growth that the Philippines aspire for. This will be done maybe a decade from now if the reforms of PNoy will continue on the next presidents, just like in the case of China and South Korea which took 2 decades to transform their economies from low-income to middle-income. Until then, we have to be patient and we should help our government to succeed. 🙂
@Jigs: again, back up your claims with citations.
And with regards to citations being “deleted,” let me reiterate that I have a GLOBAL WordPress account (not just a local GRP account); if any were to be deleted there would be a message telling me so. It seems that you didn’t post any replies to my questions, so you’re clearly lying that your “answers” got deleted.
What reforms? and no, those achievements which has no substance that you posted in the previous article doesn’t count so suck it.
He did diddly squat and that’s a fact.
He only grabbed credit from his favorite scapegoat and your favorite person to get your EMO on.
Indeed MidwayHaven. jigs the dakilang mangongontra here obviously has no brain to think independently so he relies too much on those BS news as his gospel truth. He’s no man. He’s a slave.
Admitting that you rely on local news and foreign news that is heavily biased for your president as gospel truth not only makes you look gullible,it also shows that you are incapable of forming your own opinion.
TROLL HARDER,Mr. malacanang-troll-in-denial
-_-
So you also say that you don’t have a reason to get angry at the current goverment even after all the incompetence and worse corruption that is happening.
Are you insane?
Why wouldn’t you get angry at the fact that this president has not been performing?
Not getting angry at the current government is like accepting an expensive and defective product without having it replaced with a working one.
We’re paying our taxes properly yet it’s obviously wasted by rampant corruption by this government.
You already contradicted your claim of not being a malacañang troll with that excuse.
He’s not just insane Johnny Derp. He’s batshit insane. It’s like he doesn’t give a fuck even if his presidente de patola molested innocent children including the dimwit’s own.
@jigs
They asked you for citations. What you did last time was give as a list of supposedly achievements which I have found to be not true as it cannot be directly said to be of your dear presidents brainchild. Nakikisakay lang.
So when they say citations you should do it like this:
http://www.manilatimes.net/price-of-pnoys-incompetence/82620/
All that was written in the list happened during PNoy’s administration on his departments, offices and bureaus he handles. If you found some discrepancies then you have to counter them with your credible and impartial source, not just opinionated ones. I mostly based my sources on the media (local and foreign). I think GRP also did.
I felt discourage in the past using citations because it will mark “awaiting moderation” and then deleted later on, just now I’m surprised the citations I provided for the government in this article were not deleted maybe because of MidwayHaven’s admission of having been able to have means for him to see deleted posts.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”
Looks what Jigs is doing fits the definition of insanity.
Trolling every single time on this blog, expecting different results definitely fits Jig’s disorder.
It’s far too late for your president to convince us and it’s still very very impossible for you, Jigs, to convince us that you are not a malacañang troll.
Deal with it.
FYI, your citations are rendered useless after haiyan/yolanda happened.
You are insane.
Deal with it.
Nah, I can give you an additional five citations about the optimistic approach for the Philippine Economy and Politics coming from international communities and Economists but I doubt if you will believe in it. You will just say the usual “Yellow Media.” All that favors PNoy government even those credible reports from bloomberg, cnbc and reuters are “yellow media” or “paid” by Malacanang. Hahaha! Pathetic.
* Optimistic reports for the Philippines even after Super Typhoon Haiyan.
@ jigs
So your logic is that since those projects/milestones/achievements were under Pnoy’s tenure then it must be credited to him? Really?
Then we might as well credit this:
http://www.popsci.com/article/science/year-science-2014
to him, too. Oh goody! All hail Pnoy!
Joeld, you must review what I just said: “happened during PNoy’s administration on his departments, offices and bureaus he handles”
You are surely out of context. Nah!
It’s already a lost cause for you, jigs.
No use trying to delay the inevitable since your president is already going down with his yellow ship.
You already lost, no need to keep struggling anymore. Don’t make it harder for yourself.
@jigs
Yup, I am just following your logic, with that you might as well credit everything to him. All hail Pnoy!
Jigs, you come in to Getrealphilippines and pay homage to your yellow god and act so victimized when everybody accuses you of being a Malacanang troll. I was very clear in my points of contention. Double standards , playing dumb , playing victim. You in the confines of this forum have paralleled the behavior of Noynoy and Abad. No wonder you are defending them. Because you are them. I will tell you the same thing I told Jonas “seek fulfillment elsewhere”. You are doing the same thing over and over again. You behave like a troll and get shocked when you are labeled a troll. And we all know in the history of GRP, trolls will never admit they are trolls. Except by sticking around since they have to meet their quota. Why not tap Ernie in the next cubicle and ask to switch websites? If you want, tell your supervisor Coloma to call me. Nothing personal. All the regulars love having it with trolls. Let’s say on the .00001 % chance you are not a troll. You are supporting a government that uses taxpayer money on trolls. So of course you are victim of your choice of idols. The more you tell us you are not troll the more we won’t believe you since your beliefs are aligned with the trolls. Them’s the breaks.
I’m an OFW, that would give you the clue that I’m not in the Philippines. Another is to check my IP address, although I’m not knowledgeable on that, maybe it can give you the confirmation that I’m telling the truth.
I have an independent mind and I will believe what I have to believe. I found some biases in this site that’s why I speak out and that’s all, no hidden propaganda or anything. I support the government but I don’t negate their flaws and reforms. At the same time, I find this site useful because it discusses different subjects that are helpful for me and for Filipinos in general despite of it being critical and nitpicking.
Even if you claim that you’re an OFW, what makes you think that we’ll believe your claim that you’re not a malacanang troll?
Anyone especially one who is proven to be a LIAR, can claim to be an OFW.
Like Gogs said, you are following the malacanang trolls spiel, logic and behavior. It’s really really similar to those trolls that have attempted in the past especially Proud Pinoy
You think that you can also lie about your ability to change your IP address?
One of the moderators already told me that you kept changing your IP address everytime
Your spiel fails you yet again, little troll.
@Jigs: did I say anything of the sort when I scrutinized your citations? Stop putting words into my mouth.
I know there are people still out there who believe that Noynoy Aquino existed in Congress and in the Senate for a dozen years and was miraculously untouched by corruption. Forgive me for repeating the only three scenarios that could have existed for a pre presidential Benigno Simeon Aquino:
1.He was corrupt like every other senator and congressman. The Alfred E. Neuman Approach. What Me Worry?
2. He was not corrupt, saw the corruption in others and felt it was not his job to stop it. The Doris Day Approach. Whatever will be will be.
3. He did not see any corruption because he was too detached and disinterested from any kind of real work to be aware what his colleagues were doing. The Sgt. Schultz approach. “I see nothing!”
Those three scenarios suggest that Noynoy was either careless, indifferent, cowardly or corrupt himself. The trappings of a trapo so to speak. Assuming no other scenarios exist why is that guy holding the highest elected office?
The bottom line is being in Congress gives you a limited power and control over the activities conducted inside the house. If Noynoy alleged that there were corruption done by his peers whether in House of Representatives or Senate, this yet has to be substantiated with concrete evidence. Remember that Noynoy was in opposition and he has no control over with DOJ and COA, which definitely working under the pleasure of GMA. Because of that, he needs more support from other people and on part of Gloria’s alleged corruption, he surely gained support with his fellow senators and congressmen to go against GMA. There were blatant call to either impeach Gloria or Make here resign but with no avail because Gloria dominated the Congress using her machinery pork barrel and influence on her partymates.
That’s non-sequitur with circular logic. You’re implying that Aquino knew corruption but couldn’t move because there was no evidence, and at the same time you’re implying that Arroyo is guilty because corruption was everywhere even without the evidence.
Like his boss in malacanang,it appears that he also applies double standards.
What a hypocrite
It’s just allegations on Noynoy’s part, maybe. I’m not sure since I did not hear him talking to the media about the corruption in the Congress before but I’m sure he sense that but he just didn’t have concrete evidence and as I said DOJ and COA were under GMA at that time so it will be futile for him to even just try to attempt. While GMA, we all know she was president for nearly 10 years and why is it that there was no definite progress in the Philippines after her term in 2010? And if you compare the Philippines to its Asian neighbors during and after her term, we were lagged behind that’s why they call us “Asia’s Laggard” or “Sick Man of Asia”. We can conclude then that either she and her cohorts are guilty of corruption or negligence.
AGAIN with the illogical statements. You claim that you’re not sure about him talking but you’re “sure” he “sensed” it. Then you continue by refuting your previous claim that we’re “progressing” under BS Aquino by saying that “there is no definite progress” after 2010?
In the end you just defeated your own statement, by saying that Aquino is as incompetent as Arroyo.
You think that the economic gains after Gloria stepped down were from your precious president?
Your president only stole credit from Gloria and that’s a fact.
The economic gains were all from Gloria’s hardwork during that 1 decade that she was in power.
The yellow media only exagerrated her flaws and made her look like the devil incarnate when they betrayed her for Mr. Aquino.
Answer this then:
Do you seriously think that the next presidency will benefit from your president’s imaginary achievements?
Do you seriously think that your president won’t be punished for all the rampant corruption that has worsened under his regime?
I seriously doubt that your president can escape being thrown in jail since the cases and evidences against him are going to actually have weight unlike the flimsy cases against your the previous president.
“AGAIN with the illogical statements. You claim that you’re not sure about him talking but you’re “sure” he “sensed” it.
– MH, the fact that he was in opposition together with Mar Roxas, CHiz Escudero, Alan Cayetano, etc. who alleged the administration of GMA for corruption then that would give you the clue.
“Then you continue by refuting your previous claim that we’re “progressing” under BS Aquino by saying that “there is no definite progress” after 2010?”
– Read again my previous post, I mean after GMA’s term in 2010 and then in that year we evaluate where the Philippines stands at that time in terms of sectors in our economy compared to its neighbors then we will find that we were left behind. But now in 2014, the Philippines leapfrog a bit compared to GMA’s regime.
@Jigs:
With regards to your statement of Aquino being in “the Opposition” with these people really doesn’t prove anything with regards to GMA’s corruption; just speculation without evidence. If anything, it proves only that Aquino was playing partisan politics.
Besides, didn’t Cayetano say that he had “boxes” of evidence against Arroyo? It’s been eight years since he said that, and so far he hasn’t presented anything of the sort. In fact, he was suspended in 2007 as a lawmaker because of his lack of evidence:

Secondly, you’re incorrect by saying that the Philippines had a bad economy in 2010; if anything, with regards to per capita income (with inflation), the economy of 2010 was pretty much the same as 3 years before or 3 years hence. GDP slowed down in 2009, but the trend was basically the same worldwide due to the recession. In fact the Philippines was the only country in Asia in 2010 with a GDP growth:

So again, you have to dig deeper for research and analysis, not just base your assumptions on mere speculation of politics.
The Aquino adminstration is playing politics, in the midst of a calamity in our country. Aquino and Roxas withold any help to Leyte, because peoiple there voted for the Romualdez.
“You are a Romualdez and the President is an Aquino”, as stated by Mar Roxas. Aquino and Roxas are personification of political evil in our country. They don’t care about the sufferings of our countrymen. They care about themselves and their political party.
The Purpose of Aquino in attacking the Judiciary is to control it.This is the reason of the Corona impeachment. By controlling the Judiciary and investigation. Aquino can absolve the guilt of his sister : Balsy; who commited the act of extortion. His cahoots also have a free reign to ransack the national treasury.
Aquino is now a Virtual Dictator of our country…
The Amputuans are not even in jail.GMA leaves the hospital when ever she wants to and this country is screwed 365 ways to New Years Day.
It just is.
The complete destruction of the ‘Elites’ is the only thing that can possibly make the realization of the great nation the Philippines should have been 30 yrs. ago actually happen. It is soooo sad, so much in the way of natural resources and talented intelligent people all sucked up dry by a few oligarchs and their flunkies. If there is a hell on earth they all need to be put there for what they have done. STOP THIEVES!!!!
You have to be careful, though; “elites” do not necessarily equate with “oligarchs.”
This is a culture of impunity. Sadly when that horrible massacre happened, I pretty much predicted we will be where we are at now. Nobody gives a damn about your life here. The same people who order the atrocities will be celebrated when their posts are up for election. I elaborate on that here.
PROUD TO BE PINOY!!!
